We refer to the announcements made by MB World Group Berhad (“MBWORLD”) or (“the Company”) on 30 May 2014, 16 June 2014, 22 December 2014, 17 February 2015, 7 May 2015 and 27 May 2015 in relation to the Joint Venture for the Proposed Tender Participation for Geosynthetic Engineering Works in Assam, India.

For consistency purposes, the defined terms and abbreviations set out in the previous announcements shall apply herein unless otherwise defined herein. 

The Company wishes to announce that Emas Kiara Marketing Sdn Bhd (“EKM”) has received notice by ordinary mail on 23 June 2016 from the Water Resources Department, Government of Assam that subsequent to the Gauhati High Court, State of Assam, India order for the parties in dispute to mediate a settlement of the matter. EKM-RasWILL-PDA JV (“the JV”), by majority consent, agreed to omit some of the scope of works in order to resolve the dispute between the Water Resources Department and BhartiaShivam JV.
