Eversendai Corporation Berhad (the "Company") Status Announcement of Public Shareholding Spread

We refer to the announcements dated 22 February 2018, 9 March 2018, 11 July 2018, 5 December 2018, 28 January 2019, 30 May 2019, 13 August 2019 , 4 September 2019 , 12 February 2020, 28 February 2020, 30 June 2020, 23 July 2020, 30 November 2020, 8 March 2021 and 30 July 2021 in relation to the Company’s non-compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Announcements”).


Unless otherwise defined herein, the abbreviations used in this announcement are the same as those previously defined in the Announcements.


The Board of Directors of Eversendai wishes to announce that based on the Record of Depositors of the Company as at 14 September 2021, and taking into account the 101,000 ordinary shares in Eversendai which are kept as treasury shares, the Company’s public shareholding spread is 25.01%.  


Accordingly, the Company has complied with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
