Eversendai Corporation Berhad (the "Company") Status Announcement of Public Shareholding Spread pursuant to Paragraph 4.3 of Practice Note 19 ("PN 19") of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("LR") of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities")

We refer to the announcements dated 22 February 2018, 9 March 2018, 11 July 2018, 5 December 2018, 28 January 2019, 30 May 2019, 13 August 2019 , 4 September 2019 , 12 February 2020, 28 February 2020, 30 June 2020, 23 July 2020, 30 November 2020 and 8 March 2021 in relation to the Company’s non-compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the LR of Bursa Securities (“Announcements”).

 

 The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce the following Status Announcement:-

 

 (i) As at the date of this announcement, the Company's public shareholding spread is 23.67%.

(ii) The Company is still in the midst of evaluating various alternatives to address the shortfall in the public shareholding spread requirement and will make the relevant announcement on the Company’s finalized plan to address the non-compliance in due course.

(iii) Bursa Securities, vide its letter dated 29 July 2021, has granted the Company an extension of time of three (3) months until 30 September 2021 to comply with the public shareholding  spread requirement.
