She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from
University of Wales College, Newport, United Kingdom and is a member of the Association of
Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom.

She is currently a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

She is a Chartered Accountant. She began her career with GHL Systems Berhad (GHL), a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, as an Assistant Accountant in 2003 and moved up the ranks and became Head/Assistant General Manager of Finance in 2008 to supervise the company's local and overseas accounting teams. She left GHL in August 2009 to venture into business in the consumer industry. She is currently also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sersol Berhad, Asia Media Group Berhad and Bright Packaging Industry Berhad.
