Since joining TM in 1982, Encik Abdul Latib Bin Tokimin was responsible for various engineering practice in operations and maintenance of telecommunication network as well as R&D and Training. 

In 1997, he was seconded to Ghana Telecom as the Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for Marketing and the Regional Operations. Apart from that, he has a wide experience with TM in Corporate Customer Service, Marketing and Sales. He was the VP Network Operations from June 2005 till February 2009 and VP for Center of Excellence until June 2011.

He moved on from TM to be the consultant to Televenture Global Network for the Batam-Mersing submarine cable system developing the business plan and the technical planning.

In January 2012, he joined BT TelConsult, London as Consultant for a broadband project in Indonesia. In July 2013 he was engaged by IDATE, Montpellier for the Iranian National broadband project. In both projects, he was responsible in recommending high level technical solutions architecture, network dimensioning of the International, Inter-cities IP Core, Intra-city Metro Rings and Access GPON, and an Implementation Plan that includes Network organisations structure, high level processes, key functionalities and cross-domain KPIs. 

He was a Board Member of Perangsang Telco and Ceres Telecom (MVNO Company under the Virgin Group of Companies) from March 2015 to February 2017. In December 2015, he was made the Executive Director of Ceres Telecom with an advisory role on Strategy, Marketing and Regulatory, until he resigned in February 2017. 

Currently, he is a director of TeleTx Ventures Sdn Bhd.
