QUARTERLY DISCLOSURE ON THE PROVISION OF CORPORATE GUARANTEE

Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(1)(ii) and the Practice Note 11 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce the following: 

 

Type of financial assistance

Aggregate amount of financial assistance provided during the quarter ended 30 June 2022.

Financial impact to WCEHB group.

Corporate guarantee in favour of IJMC-KEB Joint Venture (an unincorporated joint venture formed between IJM Construction Sdn Bhd and the Company) provided by the Company for the procurement of bank guarantee for a performance bond to facilitate the ordinary course of business of WCEHB Group, i.e., for the construction and completion of the West Coast Expressway, Section 7, Part 2 of 2 (Section 7B), undertaken by the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, KEB Builders Sdn Bhd. 15,050 Nil.
