Eversendai Corporation Berhad (the Company)
Non-compliance with the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that simultaneously with the preparation of the Company’s semi-annual return as at 31 December 2017, it became aware that the Company is not in compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Based on the Record of Depositors as at 31 December 2017, the public shareholding spread of the company is 19.94% (excluding treasury shares).

The Company is currently in discussion with its Directors, substantial shareholders and person connected with them to identify a rectification plan to address the above non-compliance.

The Company has also applied to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for Acceptance of Lower Spread pursuant to 8.02(1) of Chapter 8 of the Main Marketing Listing Requirements and Section 2.0 of Practice Note 19.
