EVERSENDAI CORPORATION BERHAD (the "Company") 

Extension of time to comply with Public Shareholding Spread requirements pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("MMLR") of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities")

We refer to the announcements dated 22 February 2018, 9 March 2018, 11 July 2018 and 5 December 2018 in relation to the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”).

 

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Bursa Securities, vide its letter dated 25 January 2019, has granted the Company an extension of time of six (6) months until 30 June 2019 to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement. 

 

As at the date of this announcement, the Company's public shareholding spread is 15.26% and the Company is still in the midst of formulating a rectification plan to address the shortfall in the public shareholding spread requirement. The Company will make the necessary announcements in relation to the status of its effort to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement.
