We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 11 March 2019.
The Board of Directors of SECUREMETRIC wishes to announce that Bursa Securities has vide its letter dated 29 July 2019 granted the Company an extension of time of 6 months from 11 March 2019 until 10 September 2019 to comply with the 25% public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Rule 8.02(1) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements (“Public Shareholding Spread Requirement”).
Based on the Company’s Register of Depositors as at 28 June 2019, the public shareholding spread of the Company was at 23.81%. This percentage represents a shortfall of 1.19% from the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement.
In order to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement, the substantial shareholder(s) of SECUREMETRIC may dispose some of their shareholdings in SECUREMETRIC before the deadline of 10 September 2019.
